Bangkok
The Queen's Park Imperial Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 22 is a very beautiful hotel, it is a common hotel for travel crews from foreign airlines and several heads of state have stayed there. It it close to the Sky Train, night life, sightseeing and shopping, but is in a quiet location. You can find out information on all the hotels in the Imperial Group by visiting their website at: www.imperialhotels.com
The JW Marriott is on Sukhumvit Soi 2 and is also very beautiful. In addition to its other ammenities, it has a very nice fitness center and swimming pool where you can work out and relax. This hotel is very popular with American businessmen and travelers alike. It is located very close to the Nana Plaza adult night life area, and tends to be noiser since it is located on the main street. The service and the rooms are very nice. Information can be found at www.marriott.com
Chiang Mai
The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel is the sister hotel of the one in Bangkok, and is located very close to the famous Night Bazzar in Chiang Mai which is a great place to stay with everything within walking distance. You can find out information on all the hotels in the Imperial Group by visiting their website at: www.imperialhotels.com I have stayed here before and I really enjoyed it. I often go to the Beer Garden by the pool at night, to listen to the live music. The hotel has a Chinese Restaurant that is supposed to be very good, but I have not yet tried it.
The Royal Lanna Hotel is also located in the Night Bazzar area, it is a cheaper hotel but is still very nice. It has a swimming pool, but the pool is not that great. The great thing about this hotel is that it is with walking distance of everything and is right in the "heart" of the night bazaar. Take a 2 minute walk to Starbucks for an Iced Mocha, or a great massage at the Let's Relax Massage shop there. I have stayed here more times than I can count and I always had a pleasant stay for a very reasonable price. The hotel stay usually comes with a free breakfast, but I only used the coupons once or twice. You can call (053) 818773
Phuket
Looking Up The Name I stayed at a nice little hotel here, I will get the name.
Pattaya
The Hard Rock is a very nice hotel located up the beach in North Pattaya, which is the location that you want to stay in when in Pattaya. The hotel is literally across the street from the beach and they have a very nice swimming pool as well. The restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel is also pretty good. This hotel is very popular with a lot of Eastern Europeans, and a lot of the rooms have themes from famous Americans like Elvis Presley or Marilyn Monroe. Their website is: www.hardrockhotelbali.com/pattaya
The Sabai Lodge is a real gem and is barely known. It is one of those places that you have to live here to know about. Good thing you found this website! I stay there all the time. It is a nice, inexpensive hotel located in North Pattaya that is very clean and has a great pool. Ask for the deluxe rooms in the back of the pool. They are very large and very quiet. The beach is about 2 minutes walk away, but you probably won't want to leave their pool, my brother didn't! You can visit their website at: www.sabailodge.com
Koh Samui
No Where To Recommend Koh Samui is a great little island, but I am afraid that I cannot recommend the hotel that I stayed at.
Hua Hin
No Where To Recommend the hotel we stayed in Hua Hin, the City Beach Resort was absolutely horrible, would not recommend it.
